Privacy Policy

Applies to Planet Merger. Last updated 22 August 2026.

We don't collect anything ourselves. Planet Merger has no accounts, no analytics, and no servers of our own — your scores and settings stay on your device. The app does show ads from Google AdMob, and AdMob collects data in order to serve them. That part is described below.

What the app stores on your device

Planet Merger saves four things locally, using the operating system's standard app storage: your high score, whether music is enabled, whether sound effects are enabled, and whether you've purchased the ad-free upgrade. This information is never transmitted to us, is not readable by us, and is deleted when you uninstall the app.

Advertising

The free version of the game displays ads supplied by Google AdMob. To serve, measure, and prevent fraud in those ads, Google may collect information such as your device's advertising identifier, IP address, device and operating system details, coarse location derived from your IP address, and records of ad interactions. This data is collected by Google, not by us — we receive only anonymous, aggregated reports of how many ads were shown and what they earned. We never receive information that identifies you.

Google's handling of this data is governed by Google's Privacy & Terms. You can review the specific data types at Google's AdMob data disclosure.

Your choices

On iOS, the app asks for permission before tracking you across other companies' apps and websites. If you decline, ads still appear but are not personalised. You can change this at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.

On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Settings › Privacy › Ads.

You can also remove advertising entirely with the one-time in-app purchase described below.

If you're in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland

Before any personalised advertising is shown, the app presents a consent choice provided through Google's User Messaging Platform. You may accept or decline, and declining means you'll see only non-personalised ads. You can reopen that choice at any time from the Privacy options item in the app's Settings screen. Where consent is the legal basis for processing, you may withdraw it at any time by that route.

Purchases

Planet Merger is a free download with a single optional purchase, Remove Ads, which permanently removes banner and full-screen advertising. Payments are handled entirely by Apple and Google — we never see or receive your payment details. The app records only a local yes/no flag indicating that the upgrade is active. Restoring the purchase asks the App Store or Play Store to confirm that flag; it does not send us any information about you.

What the app does not do

Planet Merger has no user accounts and no login. It does not ask for your name or email address, and does not request access to your precise location, health data, contacts, photos, microphone, or camera. We operate no servers and hold no database of users.

Children

Planet Merger is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Because the game is ad-supported, we ask that a parent or guardian decide whether it's appropriate before a child plays. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us and we'll act on it.

Retention

Because we hold no data about you, we have nothing to retain or delete on your behalf. Uninstalling the app removes everything it stored on your device. Data collected by Google through AdMob is retained according to Google's own policies, linked above.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new date.
